The day you decide to get married is the day you have found someone that you love more than anything in the world. Well, almost anything. Obviously, your bride or groom to be still doesn’t come close to your pet. The love between a pet and owner is unmatched and when it comes to tying the knot with that favorite human being of yours; your pet better be involved. Here are some fun ways to include your most important pal in the most important day:
Let your pet handle the proposal
You could get down on one knee, you could book out a restaurant, you could go for a romantic picnic. When it comes to proposing there are many options. Yet at the end of the day, she is looking at you and deciding if she will spend the rest of her life by your side. Why not increase the odds of her saying yes by letting your dog do the hard yards? There is no way she could say no to your beautiful pooch, right?

Save the date, save the dog
A similar approach with your ‘save the dates’. Let everyone know that your dog is still the most important part of your life and a wedding will not change that. Feature your dog on the front of the save the date. It is adorable, personal and unique.

Prewedding dog shoot
Want to show the world you are getting married and excited about it, have a pre-wedding photoshoot! Want to show the world you are getting married, excited about and present what your family will look like? Then include your dog in the pictures, after all, your dog is the center of the family!

Include your dog in the ceremony
The old saying of never work with children or animals doesn’t apply to weddings. Use your dog for extra cute points. He could be a ring bearer, a flower pooch, or if it is a big dog, maybe security.

Have a pet-themed wedding
Why stop at including your pet in the wedding, make your pet the theme of the wedding. Have the mass cards printed with the pet’s face, have the menu themed with pet-related puns, have the priest give your pet a special thank you. This one, we admit, is a little over the top but if you love your pet enough, it may not seem crazy at all.
Take your pet on the honeymoon
While the honeymoon is supposed to be an intimate time for you and your partner, can you really leave your pet at home? Choose a honeymoon destination that lets you bring your pet too.
Marry your pet
Illegal in most states and countries, but sometimes your pet is just so cute you want to actually marry them instead. Don’t. Please marry your fiance. Let’s be honest, pets do not really understand the old tradition of marriage anyway.
Whatever way you decide to include your pet in the wedding planning, have fun with it, make it special and take lots of photos.
